Who We Are

Andrew Cook, CAIA®

FOUNDER & CEO,
senior wealth advisor

I founded Columbia Square Wealth Management to help clients build more prosperous and meaningful lives by aligning their money with their values.

I worked for large national wealth management firms for most of my 20+ year career. Beyond all the knowledge I acquired about the markets, investment management, and financial planning, two of the most important things I learned in that time were that character counts, and values matter.

I grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan. After high school I moved to California to pursue a career as a professional musician. I went on to attend UC Berkeley, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science.

I am a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, CAIA®, and I have worked in financial services for over 20 years, at Charles Schwab, American Express, and Merrill Lynch.

I moved to the Tri-Cities with my wife Mimi in January of 2019. When I'm not helping clients, you can find me reading about economics, practicing my bass guitar, or hiking with my wife through some of the beautiful landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.

Andrew & Mimi

Mimi and I have been married for 11 years. Together we have four daughters, two sons, and four grandsons.

Mimi loves to cook and is very active in our church. She is a fantastic cook, amazing mom, and a wonderful wife. I feel very blessed.

I am a member of the Richland Rotary Club, where I am the Foundation Treasurer and Chair of the Community Works Projects Committee. I have a passion for community service and for helping those who have been less fortunate.

I am also a member of the Columbia Basin Badger Club, where I am on the Program Committe. The Badger Club produces excellent forums on important local, national, and international issues, and helps facilitate constructive dialogue within the community.
